This committee will help plan statewide activities to assure the passage of the proposed Interagency Council legislative bill for Deaf, Deaf-Blind and Hard of hearing persons. The committee will also work to ensure that representatives appointed to the planned council have the best possible interests of ESAD, the Deaf and Deaf-Blind community.

This committee will address VRI, interpreting licensure, and high speed internet access/technology equipment issues for Deaf and Deaf-Blind in rural areas as well as those who are economically disadvantaged.

This committee will address homeland security, 9-1-1 emergency services and carbon monoxide alarms among other safety and emergency related issues.
