State Pageant Director Position Opening 

ESAD seeks a talented, energetic and committed volunteer to assume an important leadership position with influencing the lives of young Deaf women seeking to promote our culture and pride across New York State.

Applicants should have:

·        Familiarity with the deaf community, NAD, political events and pageants 

·        Knowledge of recruiting young women as contestant candidates and seeking out reliable committee members 

·        Experience with fundraising and donation solicitations 

·        Ability to establish guidelines and make policy decisions 

·        Extraordinary people skills and be easily approachable 

·        Crisis management skills with contestants, chaperones or committee members 

·        Patience, understanding and common sense 

Note:  Linda Mosca-Ginis ably served as our ESAD Pageant Director for the last twelve years and has decided to share this wonderful experience with  other “up and coming” leaders. Linda believes this experience will be extremely rewarding for future candidates as a positive role model for young Deaf women in New York State.
